Junior Software Developer (Full-time, Permanent) - No Previous Experience

We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual to join our expanding team with a passion for technology, a clear, logical and analytical mind, and a “can do” attitude. This position is ideally suited for someone with no previous commercial experience in the IT sector who can demonstrate the skills required and meets the essential requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The junior software developer will be involved in the delivery of projects for clients:

  • Contribute to technical analysis, solution design, user experience design, development, testing, implementation and deployment;

  • applying change control processes;

  • reporting to project manager on project progress;

  • create and maintain software documentation; and

  • assist in code reviews to maintain project quality.

REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL

Essential requirements for this position are as follows:

  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills with the ability to accurately estimate time to complete tasks;

  • Strong interest in new technologies and concepts with the ability to pick them up quickly;

  • Desire to achieve Microsoft development qualifications through continual learning;

  • Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills;

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;

  • A positive “can do” attitude.

REQUIREMENTS - DESIRED

The following desired requirements would also be advantageous:

  • University degree in any subject.
