Junior Helpdesk Technician (Full-time, Permanent)
We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated junior helpdesk technician to join our expanding team with a passion to support our clients’ IT needs.. Limited supervision and direction is required for this individual to deliver results. This position is ideally suited for someone starting their career in IT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The junior helpdesk technician will be involved in:
Providing internal and external clients with first level support;
Assisting with internal and external client equipment builds and support;
Resolving problems to the end user’s satisfaction;
Monitoring the helpdesk ticket queue and prioritise appropriately;
Escalating unresolved tickets to the next level support;
Assisting with onboarding and offboarding of users; and
Maintaining internal equipment asset records.

REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL
Essential requirements for this position are as follows:
Strong interest in new technologies and concepts with the ability to pick them up quickly and apply them to client projects;
Desire to achieve technical certifications through continual learning;
Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and email communication;
Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills;
A positive “can do” attitude.
REQUIREMENTS - DESIRED
The following desired requirements would also be advantageous:
Microsoft Certified Professional (preferably with awards in the last 2 years in a Microsoft Cloud based technology);
At least one years’ experience working within a managed service provider; and
Foundation degree or higher in a computing related degree.
