Engineer (Full-time, Permanent)
We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated engineer to join our expanding team with a passion to support our clients and deliver projects on time and on budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The engineer will be involved in:
working within the team to provide IT support to our clients and colleagues;
ensuring client site documentation is kept current;
carrying our proactive IT support maintenance for clients;
providing remote and on-site IT support for clients;
providing recommendations to clients regarding equipment, service renewals and refreshes; and
providing the helpdesk with second and third level support.

REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL
Essential requirements for this position are as follows:
At least two years’ experience working in an IT technical role including Windows 10, networking, firewalls, Office 365, Active Directory and Windows Server 2012 R2 and higher;
Experience of implementing IT security best practices and technologies;
Great attention to detail and time-management skills with the ability to accurately estimate time to complete tasks and projects;
Strong interest in new technologies and concepts with the ability to pick them up quickly and apply them to client projects;
Desire to achieve technical certifications through continual learning;
Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills;
A positive “can do” attitude; and
Full driving licence and access to a car.
REQUIREMENTS - DESIRED
The following desired requirements would also be advantageous:
Microsoft Certified Professional (preferably with awards in the last 2 years in a Microsoft Cloud-based technology);
Practical experience of Microsoft virtualisation technology (such as Hyper-V);;
Practical experience of deploying infrastructure as a service (such as Azure Virtual Machines);
At least one years’ experience working within a managed service provider; and
Foundation degree or higher in a computing related degree.
